Good News!!

So about a week ago I found out that a program called the Pfizer Bridge Program is going to pay for my medication, YAHH!!! I will have to reapply every six months or so, but big deal. I was way excited. They are so awesome. Through all of this I have learned that you cannot just sit back and wait for people in the medical field to help you. Don't get me wrong my specialist and her nurse are awesome, but they are busy people. If you want something done sometimes you have to do it yourself!! I was way more productive by educating myself about AGHD, and also researching programs and different options offered to me. But then again I am not the most patient person. Anyway, awesome news huh!

So Behind!!

My little throttle junkies!! This weekend we had the annual Peterson Reunion, we were working on the house so we came up for the evening stuff, but still had fun. I had no idea that a little boy could love a motorbike this much! They are all insane, all three! Gage loves to ride with cousin Carson, Canyon was stuck to one the entire two days, and Richard loves the excuse to take them for rides. They are all boy!! It was so good to see everyone again. Next year we will be there alot more, I think that this is an awesome tradition that has been started!! I'm going to take some more pictures of the house tonight and get them posted, I'm sorry I'm so behind, so much has been going on!!

Finally An Answer

Wow, things have been so crazy at our house lately, I swear this building a house thing is nuts!
I need to post some more pics on my slide show ( down at the bottom of my blog) .

The new development for me is that I FINALLY figured out why I'm always to tired and just not feeling good. Since Christmas I've been seeing an Endrocrinologist for my thyroid that hasn't been right since I had Canyon. After testing and more testing, she discovered I have AGHD ( Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency)
Everyone needs grow hormone when they are kids right! Well it turns out that you need it when you an adult too! Well its pretty hard to explain and I won't bore you with the details, but its pretty important for me to have it. Turn out most people with AGHD don't need to be treated but I'm in the eighth percent that do, just my luck, huh. So I'll have to give myself a shot of growth hormone everyday, for forever I guess? Turns out this GH is pretty pricey and my insurance company, as with most, won't touch it! We've heard that it could be $5,000 and also heard its going to be $30,000 a year, we are hoping and praying for option #1! So as for now I am trying to find foundations to issue me a grant to pay for the medication. I can't believe that a drug can cost that much!!!

Sunner Fun

Summer fun!! My kids like to play on grandma's swing set.
We basically live at our new house, which is next to Grandma's. I'm glad that my kids have a place to play in the shade while we work.
