Camping @ Bryce Canyon

Camping at Bryce Canyon! I didn't get many outside pictures, it rained half the time we were there. But we still had fun, Canyon has a new found love, DIRT!!! Oh, boy he loves the stuff! Berkley and Aubrey looked so cute in their boots and braids.

A Very Sad Day!!!!

Yesterday was really hard. We had to let go of a family member, Abby. She was our family dog, she was so much more than just a pet she was the best!! We love her and we are really going to miss her. She was 13 years old, Richard got her the summer of 1996. She was so good to us, I don't know that we will ever find another dog like her. She went everywhere with us, we are going to miss her this summer. She loved to camp, fish, hunt and play with the kids. We had to make the decision to have her put down as her health was failing, we didn't want her to suffer. The vet said that it was either her heart, liver ot maybe a tumor that was causeing her abdomen to fill with fluid, and that if we drained it off it would only come back. We didn't want to put her through that. That was the hardest decision ever!! It is so hard to go out and see the kennel empty and no Abby. It is comforting to know that she didn't have to suffer, but we are going to miss her so much!!

New Pics!

Our house. Its coming along, Richard can't wait for school to be out so that he can work more on it. He can't stand doing the nights and weekends thing. I posted some new pics on my slide show at the bottom of my page, I figured that would be easier than posting every time something changed. The newest pics are of the floor, we were suppose to do the other half Saturday but it rained, so we'll do it this weekend. Yeah!! I can't wait for the framing to start, that's the fun part.

My kids are so funny, they say the funniest things sometimes. Like yesterday, we went out to eat at El Mexicano. We were asking the kids what they wanted to eat before we got there, Gage had decided he wanted an Enchilada. So we get to the Restaurant and the waitress is walking us to our table, we get our high chair and are just sitting down when Gage turns to a Different waitress and says" Hey Lady, I want an Enchilada" Then he turns around, walks off and sits down at our table and was waiting for his "Enchilada". We all were laughing so hard, but still trying not to embarrass him. He is so funny, he is pretty quite for the most part, but he is starting to develop quit the personality.

I can't believe my baby is One!! This year has flown by so fast. Canyon had a great time at his party. We had a BBQ at Gunnison Park, his favorite part was the cake. He dug right in!! YUMMY! He is so cute! Canyon was the biggest mess, oh well nothing a bath can't take care of.
